They’re calling it the “Spirit of the Age,” acedia. AKA Sloth, the deadliest of the seven deadly sins. The opposite of Sloth is magnanimity. Let’s be magnanimous in all we do! Let’s make sure our kids know the significance of Mass so we can combat the spiritual youth exodus. We talk about that and creative curriculum ideas, such as unit studies, literature-based history lessons, and the value of immersive learning experiences like educational road trips and field trips.
